How do I obtain an NRN ID card?

If you wish to receive the Card yourself, here is a full process for doing so:

Step 1: Sign up at the MOFA portal.

If you are a Nepalese citizen residing abroad (NCRA), you must submit an application to the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (if in Nepal) or the Presiding Officer at the Embassy/Consulate (if not in Nepal) for the NRN ID Card, as per Rule 3(1) of the Non-Resident Nepali Rules 2066.

The required documentation for Nepalese citizens residing abroad are:
